The 30-Day Notice That Doesn't Add Up

Back to AI Challenge Lab

The Challenge

Legal Intermediate

Using AI to analyze a lease agreement and an eviction notice that contradict each other.

Your Mission

You come home on a Friday evening to find a 30-day eviction notice taped to your apartment door. The notice says you violated the pet policy — but you've had your dog since you moved in two years ago, and your lease explicitly allows one pet under 40 pounds. Your landlord also claims you owe $1,350 in 'pet damages,' but your lease says the $500 pet deposit covers normal wear. You have 30 days to respond or you lose your apartment. You need to use AI to compare the eviction notice against your lease, identify the contradictions, understand your tenant rights in your state, and draft a formal written response before the deadline.
